These dazzling Napa Vineyard inspired glass wall art sconces were painted for a clients who also purchased two of my reverse painted glass chandeliers plus a reverse painted table lamp. The install that will take place in April will be in a brand new home in Northern California. As you can see they are stunning!
Each of my glass wall art sconces are first hand cut and then curved in my kilns here in my studio in the Greater San Francisco Bay Area. Each is painted in reverse—otherwise known as reverse glass painting. It’s my specialty and I’m an expert in reverse glass painting and have been doing so for over 10 years. My chandeliers have sold to hundreds of clients through out the U.S. and I have also shipped to international destinations, Canada being the most frequent.
Each of the Napa Vineyard inspired glass wall art sconces were painted from sections from a vineyard and mixed flower chandelier that will hang in my client’s dining room, which can be seen here, titled Napa Vineyard Garden Reverse Painted Chandelier. My client wanted the five sconces to have the same look and feel as the vineyard and flower chandelier mentioned above, which had a very minimal background color. These are truly elegant sconces.
The second chandelier, titled Flowers of Durango, seen here, will hang in the foyer and it has a brighter color palate. This was the husband’s choice chandelier. Often when I have couples coming to view chandeliers in my studio, there is a compromise that must take place in terms of choosing a chandelier as I have so many beautiful color and flower options and no two are alike. In this case, each could choose a chandelier!
The lighting is ambient like you would expect from a wall sconce. The electrical hardware is wired for candelabra bulbs and I’m specifying LEDs due to their energy savings and beautiful upbeat lighting. To be clear, these glass wall art sconces are meant to hardware into your wall. I recommend having an electrician install them. Painted glass wall art sconces create fabulous accent lighting.
Like all of my work, my sconces and chandeliers are hand crafted here in my studio in California. This is Made in the U.S.A. fine lighting.
