It’s been a little while since my last post….been very busy and the spring season presents no rest in sight. I cannot complain (too much), work is good! Such is the life for an artist.
Right now I’m working towards finishing up two commissions that are close to completion. I’m also creating two large painted chandeliers for an art gallery in Colorado that I’m very excited about. I’m even excited about the two-day drive.
The photo included in this post shows me creating a scroll at the end of one of the arms for my iron fixtures. It’s been a little while since I’ve been in the smithy…so I need to get back in there soon! There’s so much that goes into making my painted chandeliers…
After I deliver chandeliers to Colorado I’ll come back to participate in our annual Artists Open Studio event. I can’t wait! This is a show that I really look forward to each year. I’m also only two weeks away from another art festival in which I’ll be featuring my tropical oil and watercolor paintings. So much to do, no time to waste!
