This contemporary art glass, reverse painted chandelier was inspired by a spring garden. Green ferns, lush grasses, wildflowers, woodland textures are accented with the surprising form of the red passion flower.
This unique hand painted chandelier concept comes from the temporate Coastal California climate. Passion flowers bloom in coastal areas such as Half Moon Bay. Lush green ferns thrive in these areas as the marine layer protects delicate plants from frost and sun. This piece has a lovely, woodland feeling. I spent nearly 10 years living in Santa Cruz and this piece reminds me of some of those quaint coastal gardens that are so lovingly tended.
This reverse painted chandelier is an example of a piece that has an overall background color scheme that is consistent around the entire chandelier. Each section is very different from the next but the overall feeling is of warm browns and umbers with greens with a bottom center sun filled yellow.
