Vibrant sunlight contrasts against soft sky blues and grassy green hues in large watercolor painting, Under the Canopy. A beautiful, serene lake reflection creates a calming vibe. My inspirations for this painting comes from the warm colors and cool water of Coral Gable’s Fairchild Tropical Botanical Garden in South Florida. The reflection in this painting is absolutely lovely and this is one of my all time favorite South Florida paintings. The original Under the Canopy was a large painting and fills a good size wall and is in my private collection. I’ll never sell this piece. It hangs in my studio office.
