24″ Reverse Painted Chandelier by artist Jenny Floravita—is installation ready.
Summer Sunlight is an exquisite Jenny Floravita reverse painted chandelier. Summer Sunlight has a very warm and sunny feeling—that is exactly how it lights up and I’m looking at it now over my grand piano in my studio gallery. The background has some tangerine accents mixed with golds and some cooler yellow colors—this reverse painted chandelier is actually very subtly complex in background color. The coloring is more like my fixture photos but the light box rounds will show more of the beautiful artistry that is found in my reverse painted chandeliers. There’s just the most wonderful sunny glow with this piece when in it’s Floravita hand-forged chandelier fixture. The colors are very upbeat.
All of my hand painted chandeliers are hand crafted in my studio in the greater San Francisco Bay Area and painted by me, Jenny Floravita. I’m immensely proud of the work that I create. My life is devoted to my art. I take great care to ensure that each of my reverse painted glass chandeliers is a true work of art and I am involved in the entire process from beginning to end. What I love most about painting chandeliers is challenging myself to always create new and original works. This is always a challenge for professional artists who are prolific. You have to be able to keep your work fresh and exciting and that is what I’m always striving for.
The hand forged fixture style that you see here is my Standard style—but you could choose from my other two fixture styles for this size. Just ask me and I’ll send you pics or direct you to other chandeliers on my website. The drop from the top of the ceiling to the bottom of the hand painted glass chandelier bowl for the Standard is 25″ and can hang lower with more chain. My other two fixture styles are: Contemporary Swirl and Ornate as my hand painted glass chandelier bowls can switch out of my fixture rings—easy.
A Jenny Floravita hand painted chandeliers is a true original work of art. They are not studio production pieces painted by studio artists. I don’t work with other artists in my studio. Studio production work is quite common amount glass and ceramic artists and it’s normal but I don’t work with other artists in my studio. It’s my choice and this is an important distinction in my work along with the fact that my chandelier fixtures are hand-forged and hand crafted and consistent in quality and artistry. My hands touch everything. The actual painting in my hand painted chandeliers is too important and has to be done by me alone and that is why my work has tremendous value. I have my own visions and I want to keep the artistry at a high level. A lot of time and thought goes into each of my hand painted glass chandeliers. They are exquisite works of art and are heirloom quality. My hand painted chandeliers will hang in fine homes for generations to come.
