Watercolor Painting, 40″x32″

The old Parrot Jungle Garden in Coral Gables, Florida was the inspiration for this tropical flower painting. On this particular day the rains came through and I saw these flowers while taking cover. Common names for these tropical flowers are parrots beak heliconia and red pendant heliconia.
