24″ Reverse Hand Painted Glass Chandelier by artist Jenny Floravita—is installation ready.
Jewels of Santa Fe is an abstract 24″ reverse hand painted glass chandelier painted in warm colors inspired by the Southwest desert landscape. This piece was created for one of my galleries. It is shown here in my Contemporary Swirl hand forged fixture which has a drop of 23″ inches plus chain length. It’s a very stunning reverse hand painted chandelier. Contemporary Swirl forged fixture design is a 2013 NICHE Awards Finalist. I designed and developed this forged fixture based on client feedback, for those who have very contemporary homes. It works especially well with my abstract reverse painted chandeliers.
Bright, vibrant colors inspire all of my abstract reverse hand painted chandeliers. Ideas come to me in dreams. It is hard for me to explain exactly how all of my ideas form. All of my life I’ve had very vivid visions. Becoming an artist has helped me to express these visions, it was a natural course for my life.
My desert inspired abstracts can have similar themes but all tun out differently. All of my reverse hand painted chandeliers are unique and original, all art painted by me—these are not production oriented works. In my desert abstracts, sun symbols, rivers and cool watery oasis flow with hidden desert jewels. In this chandelier, I painted a prominent desert jewel with feathers and frame it in an oval.
All of my reverse hand painted chandeliers are hand crafted. They do incorporate lamp parts where needed but the glass bowls are kiln formed here in my studio and my fixtures are hand forged—these chandeliers are made here in my studio in the San Francisco Bay Area. A lot of time and work goes into all of my works of art.
