This beautiful Waimanalo Bay oil painting is the third of three paintings that were commissioned to give as wedding gifts to the parents of the bride and groom from Australia. My client contacted me two months prior to her wedding day and told me that she would be married on Waimanalo Beach. Luckily I was going to be in Waikiki just a few days prior to her arrival for her wedding so I brought her paintings with me and delivered them to her hotel to wait for her arrival.

Waimana Bay is painted loosely and peacefully in this scene. Oahu’s many mountains are in the background and coconut palms lean towards the beach.

This Waimanalo Bay painting is an original oil painting on gallery wrapped canvas and is painted around the edges and signed by me. My work sells nationally and I am a very successful, well collected artist. My painted chandeliers keep me really busy so these days I have less time to indulge in my love for painting Hawaiian scenes on canvas.
