24″ Reverse Hand Painted Glass Chandelier by artist Jenny Floravita—is installation ready.
Circles of Summer is an exquisite 24″ reverse hand painted glass chandelier by artist Jenny Floravita. Violet suns burst with brilliantly colored jewels. Sundials intersected by vortexes that go round—this abstract is part of my Circles of Life Series. Each is one-of-a-kind.
When I begin the paintings in my kiln formed glass bowls which are formed here in my studio, I paint with happiness. All of the color choices and design elements evoke joy and brightness. Visions come to me while I paint and while I dream and those end up being the basis for my elaborate reverse hand painted glass chandeliers.
Circles of Summer features one side that has warm desert violet colors. Yellows contrast against purples. As you move around the chandelier you see fire reds and oranges in a sun which eventually breaks to a section of watery aqua colors with brilliantly colored jewels that are surrounded by wreaths of soft feathers. Each person has their own path in life and yet we all have experiences in common.
My exuberant abstract reverse hand painted glass chandeliers look good in any of my fixtures. Contemporary Swirl is a forged fixture style that I designed specifically for my abstracts—it ties into the symbolism yet is simplistic in it’s design for those who need a more modern choice. If you prefer a more formal look, my Circles of Life chandeliers also look wonderful in my Ornate style…and my Standard forged fixture is in between the two—it’s contemporary and yet it retains scrolled elements in it’s design. There is no right or wrong answer as to which fixture style to choose. All will hang well over a table even in a lower ceiling situation as you do not need walking room underneath.
