Few plants express the feeling of the tropics better than large banana plants. Their big broad green, golden, orange and brown leaves are the true star of this lushly painted oversized watercolor. This tropical banana painting brings a life size element of the tropics into a space. I was inspired by the gorgeous leaves and felt that this piece needed to be painted large. In my own yard I grow several varieties of bananas.
