Prairie Grass Reverse Hand Painted Chandelier is a 36 inch glass diameter light. This was a custom painted chandelier. The client wanted brown hues with the dull grassy colors of the prairie grass…which when you look at the grasses, they almost possess (no color)…maybe the slightest hues of violet or the most minimal blue-green…and dull brown in the lightest opacity.
I painted two themes of this chandelier (one with more spring green leaves that go with the prairie flowers, which can be seen here)…and this is the piece that my client choose. These are two very different approaches. This piece photographed better because it has a wider variation of colors to capture and my camera (or photography skills) do better with that. However, both turned out stunningly beautiful!

Reverse Painted Chandeliers Are Installation Ready
The forged iron fixture style here is 40 inches in height. A modification of this fixture style can be 33 inches. A ceiling height of 9 feet is the minimum height for a large chandelier. Installation would need to be over a table if your ceiling is only 9 feet tall.
Chandeliers are installation ready. Included is an elegant, modern hand forged fixture. Chandeliers begin as flat architectural grade glass. The glass is formed into a bowl shape in one of my large studio kilns. Reverse glass painting a special and rare painting technique. I am the sole artist and painter.
