Garden of Dreams is a stunningly beautiful 33″ Reverse Painted Glass Chandelier by artist Jenny Floravita
Installation Ready and shown in Floravita’s Ornate fixture
This gorgeously painted piece was a commissioned chandelier and it photographed so beautifully that I had too many pictures to choose from. This new reverse painted glass chandelier features a dreamy late summer color palate of blue sky, rust hues, soft blush colors, greens, pinks, violet hues and white accent colors. Golden sunflowers, tropical green leaves, hydrangeas and daisies are just a few of the flowers in this gorgeous chandelier. A hummingbird flits in between the flowers in this dreamy summer garden.
Overall colors and flowers were inspired by another large chandelier in my portfolio, the super large New Orleans chandelier so there are similarities between the two pieces, mainly in a single large section. In fact, this commissioned chandelier is a great example of taking an idea from another chandelier in my portfolio and then changing some flowers and colors to make it your own, which is exactly what my clients did with this lovely art chandelier.
The forged chandelier fixture seen here is my Ornate style and it has a minimum height of 41 inches if installed with a ceiling canopy and chain or a fixed height of 35 inches, as a modified version. A ceiling height of 9 feet is the minimum height for a large chandelier and the installation would need to be over a table. If you imagine installing a large chandelier in an entry way or living room you need a taller ceiling to handle a piece of this size.
