28 inch Decorative Light by artist Jenny Floravita

I’ve been meaning to add this beautiful 28 inch glass diameter commission to my website for a while. This was a commission for a dear client in Southern California. The theme is a mixed floral with blue, purple, pink and red flowers. The background color has a lot of sky blues. There is a hummingbird and a butterfly tucked into this lovely 28 inch decorative light which is a reverse painted chandelier.

The glass bowl diameter is 28 inches and is very deep. This is a shape that I’ve developed specifically for my 28 inch size. I was able to make the iron fixture short for such a large piece, it was under 26 inches (I believe). The fixture style that you see here is my Contemporary Swirl and this 28 inch decorative light is mounted directly to the ceiling without chain or canopy to satisfy a required short fixture height.

I worked closely with the client to achieve their color balance and I really loved how reverse painted chandelier turned out.

Please let me know your ceiling height when you call as that will help me determine if a space can handle a piece of this size if the ceiling is not tall…or if there is a door that will swing open as in an entry way situation.

My hand painted chandeliers are all original works of art painted only by me, Jenny Floravita. They are not studio production pieces—none of my work is nor will it ever be. A lot of time and thought goes into each of my painted chandeliers. They are exquisite works of art and are heirloom quality. My painted glass chandeliers will hang in fine homes for generations to come.
