Blue Hydrangea Chandelier with Roses and Icelandic Poppies is like a romantic evening in a moonlit garden. This reverse hand painted glass chandelier is more beautiful than I could photograph—it lights up gorgeously. I’m showing a lot of images so that you can get a better idea of the artistry behind my stunning chandeliers. This artfully painted chandelier was custom painted and thus is spoken for…so I’m showing it here as it is a beautiful example of a deep blue colored chandelier that also lets out a great deal of light within the glass. Blues are tricky to work, especially the deeper cobalt blue hues so I use them with accent flowers on lighter grey and mauve backgrounds…and also sparingly within the background colors. Lighter blue hue in the background also allow for more blue color in the chandelier. Overall the effect is very romantic. Edge to edge—there is blue from side to side in Blue Hydrangea Chandelier with Roses and Icelandic Poppies.

The forged fixture style shown here is my Contemporary Swirl style and the drop from the ceiling (to the bottom of the glass bowl) as seen here is 29 inches plus chain. However, Contemporary Swirl also comes in a couple shorter height variations, to be as short as 17 inches for my 24 inch glass bowl pieces. You can see my Chandelier Specs here. Any of my fixtures would be lovely with this chandelier—my glass bowls that are 24 inches diameter are interchangeable in all of my hand forged fixture styles.

A lot of time and thought goes into each of my hand painted glass chandeliers. They are exquisite works of art and are heirloom quality and will hang in fine homes for generations to come.
