24″ Reverse Hand Painted Chandelier by artist Jenny Floravita, includes elegant hand forged fixture, ceiling canopy and chain—is installation ready
Lush Waters is a brand new favorite reverse hand painted chandelier—I love it! It’s essence is that it combines lush greenery—palm fronds, ti leaves and exotics with tropical and exotic pink flowers. The sky blue bottom creates the illusion of a pond that is brimming with life. The sky is reflected from above. This is a very soothing chandelier painting.
Tropical Hawaiian flowers are my specialty. When I create oil and watercolor paintings (for the wall) they are all tropicals, either Hawaiian island landscapes or they are tropical flowers. That is my natural style and it continually inspires my work. Every artist has a natural style—my tropicals are very unique in this art form.
I’m probably showing too many images but this piece was hard to photograph—so the detail images that show the glass bowl without the forged fixture are helpful. I especially love where I’m bending pink ti leaves with torch ginger, which sways over to an exotic orchid and shell ginger. My reverse hand painted chandeliers are about soul and movement. I love to create works that are lavish and opulent. Each of my chandeliers are originals painted by myself.
I work very hard to create my reverse hand painted chandeliers—a lot of attention to detail goes into each of my works and that had help to make me a very successful artist. This piece is definitely my newest favorite, which is why I haven’t rushed it to a gallery! It has a very calming effect. My husband thought it looked very much like a pond that one would find in the South like in New Orleans.
