Red rock buttes and striking canyons among a vibrant oasis of culture and art—that is Sedona in a nutshell. The very first time I drove into Sedona, Arizona I was in awe of the sheer beauty of the landscape and shocked by how vibrant the colors were in the rocks. Trails of Sedona is a hand painted chandelier that is inspired by my travels to Sedona. In fact, many of my abstract painted chandelier concepts come from the Sedona landscape.
I find the Sedona art community bursting with energy and I’m impressed every time I’ve been there by the quality of the artists. Kuivato Glass Gallery shows my painted chandeliers and I paint a lot of work for them with desert colors in mind. Kuivato definitely has the best glass art in Sedona.
Originally I had thought that the painted chandeliers that I was creating for Sedona tourists would only appeal to people who love Sedona but I was wrong—I’ve sold my vibrantly painted desert inspired chandeliers to art collectors all over the country. I have endless ideas for my hand painted chandeliers. Each piece is it’s own true original.
If you are an art collector who loves glass art and you also love traveling to Sedona and other desert communities, then you might like to view more of my chandeliers.
