I am excited to announce that this year my fist exhibition will be at the La Quinta Arts Festival, March 10-13, 2011. The hours are 10am to 5pm for all four days. This is a beautiful show in the desert by Palm Springs in California. This will be the 29th year and the show is hosted by the La Quinta Arts Foundation. For more information or to purchase tickets, call 760-564-1244 or visit their website at http://www.lqaf.com My show postcard states that Adult Tickets are 12 and Multi-Day Passes are 15.
This will be the first time that I’ll be exhibiting in this show. I’m excited as I am not participating in as many art festivals this year as in past years. This is a very high-quality show and it attracts some of the best artists in the country. I am crossing my fingers for beautiful weather…no hurricane force winds or storms in the desert, please!!! And if we have the infamous weather that can be known to the desert in March, come anyway. We’ll still be here for you!
There are so many art festivals out there (over 3,000) that it has become very difficult to make decisions on which shows to exhibit. In order to keep the most special shows going, I urge you, the art collecting public to go to your favorite festivals to show your support. I also urge you to take the cards of your favorite artists for just in case you do not see them at shows in the future that you have assumed are on their regular roster. Artists are moving around these days, trying different events so don’t miss out on that beautiful, special work of art that you’ve been telling yourself that you’ll get ‘next time’.
