Enchanted Flower & Blue Parrot is a large and opulent reverse painted chandelier. This piece is custom painted for a collector. The painting had to contain lots of purple hydrangeas and I learned that purple is the color of the law. Did you know that? My client for this piece is a lawyer and so purple is symbolic. The piece also had to have grapes and dark reds and a single parrot. I’ll write more about this special piece in a blog soon and will tell the complete story. A lot of my custom painted chandeliers have stories behind the art.
The artistry in the glass is more beautiful than pictures can show. It would be well worth your time to scroll through the entire gallery and to especially look at the light easel pictures—this is a stunning large chandelier.
The colors are vibrant, bold and romantic. I really love how this piece turned out.
Reverse Painted Chandeliers Are Installation Ready
The forged iron fixture style here is 41 inches in height. A modification of this fixture style can be 35 inches. A ceiling height of 9 feet is the minimum height for a large chandelier. Installation would need to be over a table if your ceiling is 9 feet. A semi-flush mount fixture option is available for short ceiling for this large reverse hand painted chandelier.
Chandeliers are installation ready. Included is an elegant, modern hand forged fixture. Chandeliers begin as flat architectural grade glass. The glass is formed into a bowl shape in one of my large studio kilns. Reverse glass painting a special and rare painting technique. I am the sole artist and painter.
