Introducing Floravita Island for Affordable Island Style Prints, Gifts & Decor

I have exciting news to share! Last year I quietly launched a new website dedicated to my surface designs, fine art prints, gifts, ocean jewelry and functional home decor. After much thought, I named it Floravita Island.

For anyone who loves the beauty of Hawaii and is looking for my art in more affordable options.

Floravita Island allows me to create a more curated experience of my art printed on home decor like pillows and accessories like hand bags and tote bags. All items are made to order. Printed one-at-a-time just for you.

I can offer FREE Shipping in USA on everything!

It’s also a great place for me to offer my less expensive hand-made Ocean Jewels Necklaces and my line of unique sets of Ocean and Lava Coasters.

My paintings are available as fine art canvas, paper, acrylic and metal prints in many sizes. And if you don’t see a specific size or images, you can reach out to me and if I can possibly have it made for you, I will!

And as I’m all about FUNCTIONAL ART, so is Floravita Island.

Another Reason for Floravita Island

My hand-crafted, reverse painted lights needed a space to truly shine on their own! And that website is THIS website. I’m very, very established in this specific art form. I need to keep Floravita Lights as simple as possible for my (painted light) clients to view my zillion options for painted lights.

My lights are expensive, they are high-end. Even my night lights are premium. They are ALL painted and made by me.

And my Original Oil, Watercolor and Mixed-Media paintings deserve a space to reflect that they are originals. The prices for my work have risen through the years, as demand for my work has risen…as it should for any professional artist.

Hand Made Gifts

In 2019, I experimented with showing my Ocean Jewels Necklaces, (which you can view here) and my Ocean and Lava Coasters. When I began to add my printed-one-at-a-time home decor and accessory items, Floravita Lights suddenly looked less organized. And to be honest, I wasn’t prepared to sell my one-of-a-kind jewelry very well. That season taught me that jewelry needs separate listings and that I cannot take them to shows and sell without having a tight control over my website inventory. In fact, though I LOVE my ocean inspired jewelry, I was trying to not drown out my more expensive work. Floravita Island has been the perfect home for these gift-able works.

And though Floravita Island had a great soft start in 2020, when the pandemic hit, shipping and production became a concern with print on demand businesses. I decided to sit out 2020 in terms of actively sharing Floravita Island. Still, people found my site and ordered! Each time I explained the production and shipping times could be longer. Thankfully everyone was understanding. And most of the time, the turn around was quick.

All of that said, I am now ready to tell you all about Floravita Island—it’s a New and separate website for:

  • Fine Art Prints on Canvas, Paper, Metal and Wood
  • Accessories like Hand Bags
  • Home Decor like Throw Pillows
  • Dinnerware like Table Runners and Placemats
  • Gifts like the Most Beautiful Mugs EVER!
  • Functional Decor like Shower Curtains
  • Hand Made Ocean Inspired Jewelry (by yours truly)
  • Hand Made Oceans and Lava Coaster Sets

And I link to both Floravita Lights and Floravita Island. So if you end up on one site and want to return to the other, just go to the top menu. This has happened once already, and I get it!! I have a pretty big website in Floravita Lights and in turn my body of (sold) Art translates into tons of art print options. In the next month I’ll make a Youtube video and post to my channel to explain what you can find on each website. And that is the final reason why it was a very good idea to separate the Originals/Printed-for-You and Affordable smaller hand made works that I create.

Closing Thoughts: What Would YOU Like?

If there is a print or image or item you’d like to see…and I haven’t gotten around to making that item, just ask me!
