Sandhill Crane Evening Migration is the second of two commissioned reverse painted chandeliers that will hang over a 16' family dining table in Nebraska. The first chandelier featured a daytime marsh scene with the sandhill cranes. This piece was to feature more of an evening scene. I wanted to show the sandhill cranes migrating in mass. I've painted more of the Nebraska marsh landscape with sunset colors reflecting in the water and sky. Reeds, grasses and wildflowers bring the marsh landscape to the foreground. A sandhill crane takes off in flight from the marsh after a day's hunt. A small bird perches on a reed to watch the events of the evening as a small flock of sandhill cranes gracefully fly over the marsh in silhouette.
Flying into the Deep Blue is a new, exquisite reverse painted glass chandelier. The color scheme features deep blues, greens, lavender along with earthy hues. This is a rainforest jungle inspired painted chandelier. It has tremendous movement especially in the part where a parrot is taking off in flight. Exotic orchids, palm fronds and exotic greenery helps create the backdrop of the jungle canopy.
This exquisite new hand painted glass chandelier features both male and female peacocks. I observed these particular peacocks at a favorite garden in Kauai on the Coconut Coast. You can get quite close to them in gardens in the Hawaiian islands when they are allowed to roam freely.
Blue Macaw Island is another new tropical flower and Macaw painted chandelier. In this piece, two gold and Blue Macaws are surrounded by tropical green leaves in the middle of a rainforest. The colors of the flowers are cooler reds and magentas, some oranges and white accents. I especially love the birds of paradise and pink ginger section. As you walk around my hand crafted, hand painted chandeliers there is always something new to see. In my multi-colored pieces, background colors change so the opposite side is completely different. All of my chandeliers are hand crafted in my studio in the greater San Francisco Bay Area and painted by me, Jenny Floravita.
Lovebirds in July features two adorable birds on a branch surrounded by blossoms and ferns in my newest reverse painted chandelier. Yellow Parrot and Tropical Flowers is one of my newest hand painted chandeliers that features an exotic bird. Teal colors accent the warm colors. A sweetly painted yellow parrot sits among the tropical flowers which I see when I'm spending time in Hawaii. Orchids, torch gingers, pink gingers, red pendant heliconias, and birds of paradise are some of the flowers in this exquisitely painted chandelier. All of my chandeliers are hand crafted in my studio in the greater San Francisco Bay Area and painted by me, Jenny Floravita.
and regional wildflowers were provided for these commissions. Also included were some beautiful pictures of sandhill cranes. We had decided that this piece would have daytime colors and that the second piece would have evening and sunset colors. These hand painted chandeliers will go over a 16' dining table that will be the gathering place for the entire family on Sunday.
Hummingbird and Yellow Butterfly Garden is an exquisite and delicate hand painted chandelier. This commissioned hand painted chandelier was inspired by Spring Garden.
