hand painted chandelier color palate

Helpful color and concept guide for those who are trying to choose colors and ideas for a painted chandelier.

Are you searching for a beautiful lighting solution that will bring more art into your home?

If you have been considering my elegant painted glass chandeliers and are trying to figure out which style to choose and in which colors, know that you are not alone. There are so many beautiful ideas and color combinations to choose from that even I have a difficult time deciding which of my chandeliers to hang in my rooms! My website shows an expansive collection of chandelier examples and the purpose of that is to offer a lot of choice in terms of color and flower combinations or show different hues for vineyard themes or show abstract ideas or ocean compositions. I’ve had clients look at every single chandelier before calling me! And this is a very wise thing to do because you can get a really good idea of what you would like to hang in your room by studying my work.

One of the tips to help in the process of choosing the right work of art, be it a painted chandelier or a painting for your wall, is to first eliminate what you don’t think will work even if you think they are beautiful. Start with style—some people know they prefer a floral over an abstract. Then move onto color combinations. It’s often easier to make a list of colors that you do not need to help clarify the color combinations that you love. For example, blue is often a color that people either love in a room or use very little to none. Lots of blue hues create a cooler feeling chandelier which might be perfect for your space if you have an airy ocean theme.

The best way to use this guide (I think) would be to look at each page more generally. Look for the color combinations that catch your eye first even if the flowers aren’t exactly the ones that you want. You might be able to:

  • Decide if you want cool or warm hues in your room
  • Decide which colors you are looking to eliminate or minimize
  • See the various possibilities of color combinations and general ideas within this complex art form
  • Decide on a style if you up in the air between florals and abstracts or florals and vineyard

From there, you might want to see if I have any available chandeliers in my online shop that are a good fit! You can see lots of detail images for each chandelier online.

I compiled this short chandelier color palate and idea guide so that you can look a range of my work at a quick glance. If there is anything that you think would make a guide like this more helpful, let me know! I am here to answer your questions and help assist when possible.

warmest regards,
