Though my many travels to South Florida and the Fairchild Tropical Botanical Gardens I watched this palm dip further and further into the lake each year. The bird that sits on the trunk of the palm is drying his wings by holding them out. I love, love, love this lake!

The reflection in this painting is absolutely lovely and this is one of my all time favorite South Florida paintings. It is a good size, too, and fills a wall space nicely.
